Alice Pest Control has a commitment to protect both people and property, we will maintain a safe and healthy work environment, in accordance with all industry standards and in compliance with all legislative requirements, We will endeavor to eliminate any foreseeable hazards which may result in property damage, accidents, or personal injury/illness or cause any damage to the environment. We recognize that the responsibility for health and safety are shared. All employees will be equally responsible for minimizing accidents , and to provide a safe and environmentally friendly pest service to all our valued clients. Safe work practices and job procedures are clearly defined in the company’s Health and Safety Manual for all employees to follow. Accidents can be avoided through good management in combination with active employee involvement. Safety is the direct responsibility of all Alice Pest Control managers and technicians.
All pest technicians will perform their services properly in accordance with established procedures and safe work practices.
The company will always strive to-
-Maintain a working environment including plant, equipment and systems of working that is safe and free of risks of health. -Ensure that the storage, transport and use of any substance which could be hazardous is carried out with due regard to health and safety. -Provide information, training and supervision to ensure the health and safety of employees. -Ensure that anyone not employed by the company, but who could be affected by the company’s work is not exposed to risk’ -For these aims to be achieved, every employee has a part to play. Each person has a responsibility to take reasonable care for their own health and safety and for that of anyone who could be affected by their work. -This includes co-operating with the company in implementing regulations and following an agreed safety procedure and rules, and using protective clothing and equipment provided. -Each employee also has a duty to report to their manager, accidents which might have caused personal injury or might have done so, and to co-operate in any investigation that might follow.
